Africa, often called underdeveloped, violent and chaotic, would not have known such instability if the rich countries from the north, starting with the former colonial powers, would have given it real possibilities of development instead of exploiting it until our very days. In the present African situation you can find all the defects of capitalism condensed, and the real nature of today´s world order is in this disaster.

Why civilizations throughout the history of humanity incurs in the same mistakes over and over again? , what is the experience worth for if it does not serve to make better decisions in the future? This context is used to deeply analyze the relations between Africa and Europe from the beginning until our days.

Vindicating that the only worthy point of view is the one expressed by the oppressed, with a mise en scène built up from reality, we film during a year the characters of this documentary to try to obtain the most faithful and realistic portrait. To be deeply documented, to know and get passionate about Africa it´s not enough to avoid becoming a victim of the overwhelming aesthetics and exoticism that could drive to an unavoidable cliché. We thus decided to come and live here in order to better understand the reality of Africa, and then film it.
